 This is obviously true, some people are more likely than others to experience inflamed haemorrhoids.  In the anal canal, there are swollen veins that cause pain and can be excruciating for those who suffer from them.

When afflicted with this disease, it becomes difficult to go about your daily activities and get a good night’s sleep.

What are piles?

Haemorrhoids are also known as piles. Pile is a condition that causes the haemorrhoids to become inflamed in the anus and the lower rectum. Haemorrhoids are a group of non-inflamed tissues in the anal canals. They consist of blood vessels as well as supporting tissues which is basically a  muscular system. Some people have suffered from large piles, but the symptoms are not visible. Despite the fact that it affects millions of individuals and is a common ailment.

 Types of piles :

4. Thrombosed Hemorrhoids :

These enlarged lumps around the anus are blood clots inside the hemorrhoidal tissue. Because of the absence of blood supply to rectal tissue, thrombosed haemorrhoids should be treated as soon as possible.

 What causes piles?

 The swelling of veins in the anal canal results in the formation of piles, which can happen for a variety of reasons, including:

  • If you strain to go to the toilet, such as if you are suffering from chronic constipation or long-term diarrhoea.
  • ageing – progressing in years, as your anal canal debilitate, which makes piles more probable
  • having a chronic cough
  • moving and uplifting heavy objects
  • feeling strenuous in the course of bowel movement
  • family background of haemorrhoid
  • obesity
  • Pregnancy ( the uterus presses on a vein making the colon swell )
  • Unfortunate poor lifestyle decisions: Many dietary essentials such as alcohol intake, a low fibre diet and spicy foods are thought to contribute to piles.
  • Hereditary is one of the contributing factors to the pile.
